So I took a 3-day off so that I can attend the graduation. On Thursday early in the morning I flew to Minneapolis. It was almost 3pm when I was there. The stupid Car Rental company wasted my time for almost 90 minutes. The traffic in Minneapolis was so so so so heavy, I was stucked in jam for 2 hours?? So, I went to Albertville Outlet to shop instead. =_+
When I reached Bemidji, OMG, I felt like I was home again. Dewey Avenue welcomed me with the left over Indian Mee Goreng and Buffalo Wings form Green Mills. *lol* After that we went to the neighbor's house party. I missed all the huggies that everyone gave me, apparently most of them knew that I came back from Seattle... How come la?? I hardly tell anyone also. =_+ Anyway, the party should be fun when you get to meet all the old friends, thse days during university life, hehe, but I was really tired the other night and it was freaking hot so I decided to end the night. =_=
I stayed at Nat + PMC + CW Pua's House when I was in Bemidji. I miss CW's room's smell. *lol* I used to stay there for like almost 2 weeks. Anyway, after that I tried to put on the graduation robe before go to bed.
The next morning, we went to the brunch at Lower Union to meet professors and students. So many many many parents were there, =_+ jealous la!! We took a lot of pictures lo, like 29380203 of them, below are just a few of them. =p
Nat and I. The white shirt that I was wearing, I used to wear it when I was working for Aramark catering service. *lol* Damn cheap ar me, I just don't feel like wasting money to buy white shirt la!
With Prof Zhang. You don't want to know which class I took with her. =p She reminded me to earn big money in Seattle. I am actually earning peanuts in Seattle la.
Vitalieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. He welcomed me with this super warm hug the other night. I miss the times when he flooded my msn with "don't stay in front of the computer", or suddenly came to my room and said "ming, why are you always in front of the computer?", or get angry at me when I did not want to go house party, and I definitely will never forget he celebrated my first birthday in Bemidji with me!
Seriously, by the time I was taking this picture, my mouth was numb, I did not know how to smile already!
A video as a proof of how strong was the wind.
Then, the very last time to Keg and Cork, even though I was super tired and had to drive at 5:30am later.
Before I left Bemidji, I got to see the sun rise! Pretty isn't it?
Now I am graduated, I can tell everyone I got a Bull Shit from Bull Shit University. =_+ I mean a Bachelor of Sc (in Psychology) from Bemidji State University. =_+ After countless days spent on in front of the computers, million clicks on the FaceBook, uncountable days of procrastinating, countless days of day dreaming, $72928302920 dollars spent in tuition fees and living fees, and also a $40 dollars graduation gown spent, I am finally graduated.
If you had to ask me what's the smartest thing I have learned in school, I can tell you which is "I decided not to wear high heels during the graduation walk" ( I can see Nat nodding her head and agreeing with me). =_+
Now I am back to Seattle, come to think of it, I had a great time in Bemidji. Be it during the school days or during the last couple days, I enjoyed every single day of it. During the last trip I was really tired, but filled. I am thankful for everything!!
Last but not least, a song for you guys!
As we go on
We remember
All the times we
Had together
And as our lives change
Come Whatever
We will still be
Friends Forever
As we go on
We remember
All the times we
Had together
And as our lives change
Come Whatever
We will still be
Friends Forever
Thank you guys so much. Especially to the Williams family, Nat (and your mom and aunty), PMC, Chee Wei, and everyone everyone everyone, and the people who bought me flowers and cards, and also the phone calls and sms from thousand miles away. Thank You!!
